In fiscal year 2022-2023, MZHF awarded new grants from board-designated funds totaling approximately $2,445,000. Of this total, $780,000 was allocated from unrestricted funds, $730,000 was allocated from patient care and education funds, and $935,000 was allocated from research funds. Additionally, MZHF’s Fishbon Fund Committee awarded $1,000,000 to establish the Fishbon Endowed Chair in Family Planning and Abortion at UCSF Mount Zion. Companioa Enrichment Center Program – to support transportation and scholarships to increase the number of underserved dementia clients and families receiving services through Companioa’s dementia-friendly day programming at its Presidio Center
